Yes. Breath Curriculum founder Elsa Unenge offers 1:1 functional breathing coaching to Monarch Athletic Club members across the West Hollywood, Brentwood, and Playa Vista clubs. Coaching is booked directly through Breath Curriculum, online or in person in Los Angeles, and complements the training, recovery, and medical services members already access at Monarch.

Monarch’s program optimizes how you train, recover, and monitor your health. Functional breathing optimizes the system underneath all of that: how efficiently your body uses oxygen, how quickly your nervous system shifts between effort and recovery, and how well you regulate stress under load. Specifically, breathwork training improves CO2 tolerance, heart rate variability (HRV), and breathing economy. These are measurable inputs to the same outcomes Monarch’s coaches and clinicians track.

Elsa is an Oxygen Advantage Advanced Instructor, a YOGABODY Certified Breathing Coach, and a 200-hour Hatha Vinyasa Yoga Teacher. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science from Lund University, Sweden, and works with leading breathwork and sleep apps including Othership, Sleep Cycle, and Open. Her work also extends to Red Bull’s Athlete Performance Center in Santa Monica.
