Breathe to Slow Your Heart

Slow Your Heart Rate

Play - 10 min

This practice trains your interoception, your ability to notice what's happening inside your body. As you slow your breathing and gradually lengthen your exhales, you may notice your heart rate begins to slow. Developing this awareness can help you stay calm under pressure, recover more efficiently, and feel more in control when it matters most. It's a great practice before bed to help you fall asleep, or anytime during the day when you want to ground, reset, and calm your mind and body.
